Overview

OpenAI is hiring an Account Director for their Mid-Market team to drive customer engagement and deployment of AI products. You'll collaborate with researchers and engineers to develop strategies for account management. This role is based in Seoul and follows a hybrid work model.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales and account management, ideally with experience in technology or AI solutions. You understand the importance of building relationships and have a proven track record of managing a portfolio of accounts effectively. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders sets you apart, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can partner with engineers and researchers.

You are strategic and value-driven, always looking for ways to enhance customer experiences and drive successful deployments. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess customer needs and tailor solutions that align with their business goals. You are comfortable navigating the sales cycle from pipeline generation to closure, ensuring that each step is executed with precision and care.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of mid-market accounts, developing and executing comprehensive account plans that drive customer success. You will lead prospects through their journey, from initial consideration to successful deployment of OpenAI's AI products. Collaborating closely with solutions and research engineering teams, you will build and execute complex customer programs that demonstrate the value of AI in their industries.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for growth within your accounts and developing strategies to capitalize on them. Your role will involve regular communication with customers to ensure their needs are met and to gather feedback that can inform future product development. You will also play a key role in educating customers about the capabilities of OpenAI's products, helping them understand how to leverage AI to enhance their operations.
