Who you are

You are a customer-focused software engineer with experience in building effective custom software solutions. You have a strong understanding of how to leverage APIs to solve real customer problems and are comfortable working in a hybrid environment. You are fully bilingual in Japanese and English, allowing you to communicate effectively with diverse teams and clients.

You thrive in collaborative settings, embedding deeply with strategic customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements. Your ability to design, architect, and develop full-stack solutions is complemented by your experience in iterative, experiment-driven development.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner with customers to turn research breakthroughs into production systems. You will work closely with OpenAI Forward Deployed Engineers to design and implement scalable solutions that address complex customer needs. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architects, and Customer Success Managers to ensure successful project delivery.

You will also provide insightful feedback to our Research and Applied Product and Engineering teams, helping to shape the future of our offerings. Your work will directly impact the quality and speed of delivery across all Forward Deployed engagements, making you a key player in our mission to leverage AI for solving global challenges.
