You are a technically proficient Solutions Engineer with a strong understanding of Generative AI applications. You have experience working closely with startups, acting as a trusted advisor to help them navigate the complexities of building and scaling AI products. Your product-minded approach allows you to effectively partner with technical teams, ensuring that they maximize the value of their applications on the OpenAI platform.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside sales, solutions architecture, applied research, and product teams to deliver high-fidelity feedback and guidance. Your ability to create repeatable guidance and best practices for the startup ecosystem is a key asset in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner closely with startup customers, guiding them from ideation through to production at scale. You will help them design and build novel applications on the OpenAI API, ensuring that they can leverage the full potential of Generative AI. Your responsibilities will include creating and delivering repeatable guidance, publishing best practices, and developing sample applications that demonstrate effective deployment patterns.

You will serve as a critical partner in collecting and delivering product and model feedback internally, helping to shape the future of OpenAI's offerings. Your work will directly impact the success of startups as they innovate and push the boundaries of AI technology. You will also engage in hybrid work, spending three days a week in the San Francisco office while collaborating with teams remotely.
