OpenGov is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to lead sales efforts within their assigned territory. You'll manage customer relationships and drive account strategy. This role requires strong sales skills and experience in government solutions.

Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the public sector, and understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with selling to government entities. Your ability to establish and maintain relationships with senior leaders in government organizations is key to your success. You are results-driven and thrive in a performance-based culture where your contributions are recognized and rewarded. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey the value of OpenGov's solutions to potential clients.
You are adept at lead generation and have experience managing the entire sales cycle from prospect identification to deal closure. Your collaborative approach ensures that you work effectively with cross-functional teams to meet sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service. You are comfortable navigating complex sales processes and can negotiate contracts with integrity and professionalism.
What you'll do
As the Enterprise Account Executive, you will quarterback the customer relationship for the full OpenGov team, driving the overall account strategy and marshaling the pre-sales team to grow both new and existing customer accounts. You will generate new leads through various channels and manage relationships with senior leaders of customer and prospect government organizations. Your role will involve conducting sales calls, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts to ensure successful deal closures. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to align on customer needs and deliver the highest standard of service.
