Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the advertising or media sectors, and possess a deep understanding of the Health & Pharma vertical. Your experience includes managing high-value client relationships and driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships. You excel at building relationships with key stakeholders, including brand advertisers and global ad agencies, and have a knack for understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions. You are results-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
You are skilled in utilizing CRM tools like Salesforce to manage your pipeline and track deal progress. Your analytical mindset allows you to provide regular reporting to management, ensuring transparency and accountability in your sales efforts. You are a strong communicator, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and internal teams alike. You are passionate about the advertising industry and are eager to contribute to the growth of OpenX's Health & Pharma vertical.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with assigned holding companies, brands, agencies, agency trading desks (ATDs), consultancies, and managed service providers. You will work closely with account teams at agencies representing the top 200 global pharma brands to activate private marketplaces and develop deals that connect advertisers with their target audiences. Your role will involve prospecting potential buyers and deploying a discovery strategy designed to drive Programmatic Direct spend.
You will provide ground support to strategic deals by driving transactional business and ensuring consistent deal-based revenue. Collaborating with internal stakeholders will be crucial as you deliver the OpenX suite of programmatic and identity-based solutions to clients. Your ability to influence the direction of the company and cement its position as a leader in identity-focused SSP will be key to your success. You will also be expected to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to effectively position OpenX's offerings in the marketplace.
