You have a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly in the health insurance sector, with a focus on growth strategies tailored to the ACA and ICHRA markets. Your experience includes designing and executing multi-year growth strategies that leverage digital channels and broker relationships. You excel in scaling high-performing sales organizations and have a deep understanding of the evolving health insurance landscape.
You are a strategic thinker who can architect distribution strategies that capture market share and ensure your organization remains the preferred choice for individuals and employers. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation within your team, driving results and maintaining a strong focus on serving members effectively.
What you'll do
As the VP of Sales at Oscar, you will lead the sales team in executing a comprehensive growth strategy focused on the ACA and ICHRA markets. You will be responsible for architecting Oscar's distribution strategy, leveraging digital channels and broker relationships to enhance market presence. Your role will involve scaling a high-performing sales organization, ensuring that Oscar remains a top choice for individuals and employers transitioning to defined-contribution models.
You will report directly to the Senior Vice President, Chief Growth Officer, and work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall company goals. Your responsibilities will include analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing innovative employer solutions to capture market share. You will also be involved in mentoring and developing your sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
What we offer
Oscar provides a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $198,720 - $260,820 per year, along with employee benefits, participation in an unlimited vacation program, company equity grants, and annual performance bonuses. The role is based in New York with a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days in the office each week. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that prioritizes innovation and member satisfaction, contributing to the mission of transforming health insurance through technology.
