Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly within software companies that have successfully captured their markets. With at least 5 years of experience in a sales role, you understand the nuances of driving demand generation and building strong customer relationships. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for winning, which drives your ability to lead a team effectively. Your experience includes hiring, training, and managing high-performing sales teams, ensuring that they are equipped to meet ambitious revenue targets.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate complex contractual, technical, and financial value points to customers, including executive leaders. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are adept at navigating the challenges that come with scaling a sales organization. Your strategic mindset enables you to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans to capitalize on them.
What you'll do
As the VP Sales at Unit, you will be responsible for driving demand generation among over 500 target accounts. Your role will involve establishing Unit as a category leader in embedded finance, leveraging your expertise to build a strong brand presence. You will work closely with the CEO and the leadership team to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the company's growth objectives. Your responsibilities will include hiring and managing a high-performing revenue team, ensuring that they are motivated and equipped to achieve their targets.
