Job Description

Who you are

You are an experienced sales leader with a proven track record in building and scaling sales teams. You have a deep understanding of enterprise sales processes and are adept at transitioning from founder-led sales to a repeatable sales motion. Your ability to close multi-million-dollar deals is complemented by your strategic thinking and market intelligence. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can define new markets and drive growth. You are comfortable with travel, as this role requires 25% travel to meet clients and partners.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take the lead in building the sales function at Digimarc. You will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives. Your responsibilities will include identifying and targeting potential enterprise customers, crafting compelling sales pitches, and closing high-value deals. You will also be instrumental in shaping the sales playbook and establishing best practices for the team. As a senior sales leader, you will mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of success and accountability. You will gather and analyze market intelligence to inform sales strategies and ensure that the team is equipped to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving market.
