PandaDoc is hiring an Account Executive for their Small Business team to manage full-cycle sales and drive new business. You'll work with a substantial volume of inbound leads and utilize value-based sales techniques. This position requires 1-3 years of direct sales experience in B2B applications.
Job Description
Who you are
You have 1-3 years of on-quota direct sales experience selling B2B applications or solutions, particularly in the SMB and Mid-Market sectors. Your strong sales background equips you to manage the full-cycle sales process effectively, from lead qualification to closing deals. You are comfortable working with a substantial volume of inbound leads and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals using value-based sales approaches. Your communication skills allow you to conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations effectively, ensuring that prospects understand how PandaDoc can meet their business needs.
You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with other departments such as Marketing, Customer Success, and Account Management to ensure a seamless customer journey. You are detail-oriented, consistently managing a clean pipeline and progressing buyers through various sales stages. You understand the importance of maintaining or exceeding activity, pipeline, and closing metrics at set targets, and you are motivated by achieving results.
What you'll do
In this role, you will manage the full-cycle sales of qualified SMB leads, which includes contract generation and other deliverables necessary for closing across a diverse portfolio of products. You will meet and exceed monthly sales goals by employing appropriate value-based sales techniques. Your responsibilities will include performing prospecting activities, working with assigned leads to set up discovery calls and product demonstrations through various communication channels such as emails, calls, and LinkedIn messages.
You will conduct discovery calls with prospects to understand their business needs and demonstrate how PandaDoc can be a solution for them. This will involve performing product demos and helping prospects evaluate PandaDoc for their specific use cases through demonstrations, events, and targeted initiatives. You will also negotiate and close deals with buyers, ensuring a smooth transition to the post-sale teams.
Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with other departments to ensure the best customer experience. You will consistently manage your sales pipeline, ensuring that you are progressing buyers through the sales stages effectively. Your ability to maintain or exceed activity, pipeline, and closing metrics will be crucial to your success in this position.
