Paytm is hiring a Deputy Manager for Legal Contracts to provide comprehensive legal support focused on corporate transactions and investments. You'll work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and strategic legal guidance.
Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong background in corporate law with experience in managing legal contracts and corporate transactions. You understand the intricacies of investment advisory and have a proven track record of drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents. Your ability to liaise with external advisors and internal stakeholders makes you an effective communicator and collaborator.
You possess a keen understanding of compliance issues, particularly in relation to foreign exchange and corporate governance. Your analytical skills allow you to structure corporate transactions that align with commercial objectives, ensuring that all legal aspects are thoroughly addressed.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s investments and corporate transactions from inception to completion. You will engage with external law firms and advisors to ensure that all legal documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations. Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating term sheets, non-disclosure agreements, and various types of purchase agreements.
You will provide strategic legal support to internal stakeholders, addressing queries related to compliance and corporate governance. Your role will also involve managing relationships with external advisors, ensuring that the company’s legal interests are protected throughout all transactions.
