Product Manager • Entry-Level

Who you are

You are an entry-level professional eager to dive into product management, particularly in the lending space. You have a foundational understanding of product lifecycles and are excited to collaborate with business, growth, design, and engineering teams to enhance customer journeys and product applicability. Your analytical mindset allows you to leverage data effectively, identifying bottlenecks and optimizing processes to drive product success.

You possess a basic proficiency in SQL or comparable query languages, enabling you to access and analyze data independently. Your ability to run experiments, such as A/B testing, demonstrates your commitment to data-driven decision-making. You are detail-oriented and proactive, ensuring that product features are thoroughly tested and that key performance indicators are tracked effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for lending journeys, which includes onboarding, credit decisioning, disbursement, repayment, and closure. You will work closely with solution architects and engineering leads to write detailed product requirement documents and manage future roadmaps. Your responsibilities will include defining and optimizing funnels to drive adoption, reduce drop-offs, and improve approval and disbursement rates.

You will be involved in testing products proactively, providing early feedback to ensure comprehensive coverage of user journeys. Your role will also require you to track key product and data metrics, adjusting strategies based on performance outcomes. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the overall success of Paytm's lending initiatives, helping to democratize credit for consumers and merchants alike.
