What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for the growth of distribution and market share in your assigned area of operations. You will ensure visibility and accountability through extensive deployment of QR & Sound Box products, as well as Electronic Data Capture (EDC) devices. Identifying and recruiting a sales team will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you align and drive business in the market.
You will plan the market size, span, and geographies for Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and devise effective communication methods to minimize the expectations versus delivery gap. Monitoring quality parameters as suggested by management will be crucial, as will validating and conducting audits on acquisitions and sales performed by your team.
As a people manager, you will oversee a large team of 5-10 ASMs and 500+ indirect employees, ensuring they are motivated and aligned with the company's goals. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the success of the QR & Sound Box vertical, and you will play a vital role in shaping the future of Paytm's merchant acquisition strategies.
