Paytm is hiring a Sales Team Lead to drive the sales of QR and Soundbox products across multiple locations. You'll be responsible for growing distribution and market share while leading a sales team. This role requires strong leadership and networking capabilities.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales leadership, with experience in driving market share and distribution growth. You are skilled in coaching and mentoring team members, ensuring they are equipped to meet sales targets effectively. Your ability to communicate plans and targets clearly minimizes the expectations versus delivery gap, fostering a high-performance culture within your team.

You are a quick learner who adapts to new ideas and concepts, applying them to enhance team performance. Your networking capabilities are strong, allowing you to build relationships with merchants and stakeholders across various locations. You are willing to travel extensively to ensure your team is actively engaging in the market where sales and usage occur regularly.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the sales efforts for Paytm's QR and Soundbox products, focusing on increasing sales through effective channel management. You will be responsible for identifying and recruiting a high-performing sales team, aligning their efforts with business objectives. Your role will involve extensive deployment of QR and Soundbox products, ensuring visibility and accountability in the sales process.

You will monitor quality parameters as suggested by management, conducting audits on acquisitions and sales performed by your team. Your strategic planning will include assessing market size, span, and geographies for field sales executives, ensuring that your team is well-positioned to capture market opportunities. You will also devise the best methods for communicating plans and targets to your team, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
