Overview

Paytm is hiring a Team Lead - Sales to manage sales enrollments and motivate team members in Bangalore. This role requires strong networking capabilities and a background in sales, preferably in fintech or device sales.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, ideally with experience in fintech or device sales. Your previous work experience in Bangalore is preferred, and you understand the local market dynamics. You possess excellent networking capabilities and are willing to travel extensively throughout your assigned area. You have a proven track record of managing teams and motivating them to achieve better sales results.

You are adept at building and maintaining relationships with key client personnel, ensuring that your team is consistently engaging with prospective customers. Your ability to analyze market trends and prepare lists of potential clients will be crucial in maximizing sales targets. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to achieving corporate objectives through effective team management.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing sales enrollments and driving sales in your designated city. You will conduct market research to identify prospective customers and ensure that your team is actively engaging with them. Your leadership will be essential in motivating team members to achieve their sales targets and maintain regular market presence. You will manage an assigned geographic sales area, focusing on maximizing sales and meeting corporate objectives.

You will build a database of key contacts in your assigned geography and maintain relationships with these key client personnel. Your role will involve managing category leads from qualification to closure, ensuring that your team is equipped to handle customer inquiries and close deals effectively. You will also be responsible for tracking sales performance and implementing strategies to improve team effectiveness and customer engagement.
