Who you are
You have over 3 years of experience in channel and distribution sales, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer relationships. Your previous roles have equipped you with the skills to manage a sales team effectively, ensuring that each member is motivated and achieving their targets. You possess a smartphone, bike, and helmet, which are essential for this role, and you have a genuine zeal for growth and success in sales.
Your market knowledge is extensive, particularly in the oil and gas sector, allowing you to onboard new merchants and maintain strong relationships with existing ones. You understand the importance of metrics in sales and distribution, and you are adept at using Excel and data tools to analyze performance and drive decisions. Your experience in handling a 5-member sales team has prepared you to lead and inspire others to achieve lucrative incentives.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for selling Paytm's products and services, representing the brand in the oil and gas vertical. You will manage relationships with customers, serving as the key point of contact from initial outreach to the final purchase. Your responsibilities will include onboarding new merchants for offline payment solutions and servicing existing merchants to ensure their needs are met. You will work closely with PSU companies and oil marketing companies to maintain good relationships and drive sales.
You will also be expected to analyze sales metrics and develop strategies for expansion and distribution. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding your team to achieve their sales targets and earn incentives. You will collaborate with other departments to ensure that the sales process is smooth and that customer satisfaction is prioritized. Your role will be pivotal in contributing to Paytm's mission of bringing half a billion Indians into the mainstream economy through technology.
