Overview

Paytm is hiring a Sales Team Lead to manage sales enrollments and lead a team in Ernakulam. You'll be responsible for driving growth and building relationships with key clients. This position requires prior experience in channel sales and team management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, particularly in channel sales, and have successfully managed a sales team of at least five members. Your market knowledge is extensive, and you possess a zeal for growth that drives your team to achieve their targets. You understand the importance of distribution and expansion metrics, and you are motivated by the challenge of maximizing sales in your assigned geographic area.

You are equipped with the necessary tools for the job, including a smartphone, bike, and helmet, which enable you to travel extensively throughout your specified areas. Your networking capabilities are exceptional, allowing you to build and maintain relationships with key client personnel effectively. You are a graduate or above, with a preference for post-graduation, which complements your professional experience.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for managing sales enrollments and driving sales in Ernakulam. You will conduct market research to identify prospective customers and ensure that your team members are actively engaging with the market to achieve regular enrollments and usage. Your leadership will motivate your team to excel in their sales efforts, and you will be tasked with building a database of key contacts in your assigned geography.

You will manage category leads from qualification to closure, ensuring that your team meets corporate objectives and maximizes sales targets. Your role will involve extensive travel within your designated area, allowing you to connect with clients and understand their needs better. You will also be responsible for preparing reports on sales performance and strategizing on how to improve results continuously.
