Who you are
You have over 3 years of experience in channel and distribution sales, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer relationships. Your previous roles have equipped you with the skills to handle a sales team effectively, ensuring that targets are met and exceeded. You possess a good knowledge of the oil and gas sector, particularly in offline payment solutions, and are adept at onboarding new merchants while maintaining relationships with existing ones.
You are proficient in Excel and data tools, allowing you to analyze sales metrics and drive performance improvements. Your ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members makes you a key point of contact in the sales process. You are motivated by growth and have a proven track record of achieving lucrative incentives through your sales efforts.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead a team of sales professionals, focusing on the oil and gas vertical for Paytm's offline payment solutions. Your responsibilities will include onboarding new merchants and servicing existing ones, ensuring that they are satisfied with the services provided. You will manage relationships with PSU companies and oil marketing companies, acting as the primary liaison between them and Paytm.
You will be expected to drive sales initiatives, develop strategies for market expansion, and analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement. Your leadership will be crucial in motivating your team to achieve their sales targets and earn incentives. You will also be responsible for reporting on sales performance and providing insights to senior management on market trends and customer feedback.
