Who you are
You have over 3 years of experience in channel and distribution sales, demonstrating a strong ability to manage and lead a sales team effectively. Your background includes hands-on experience in sales operations, particularly in onboarding new merchants and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the oil and gas sector. You possess a good understanding of market dynamics and have a zeal for growth, which drives your success in achieving sales targets.
Your experience includes handling a sales team of at least 5 members, where you've developed skills in team management and motivation. You are proficient in Excel and data tools, enabling you to analyze sales metrics and drive performance improvements. You understand the importance of building strong relationships with customers and have a proven track record of doing so in previous roles.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a sales team focused on offline payment solutions for the oil and gas vertical. You will manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial lead outreach to closing deals, ensuring that your team meets its sales targets. Your role will involve onboarding new merchants for offline solutions and servicing existing ones, maintaining strong relationships with PSU companies and oil marketing firms.
You will be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met and that they receive excellent service throughout their journey with Paytm. You will also be expected to analyze market trends and develop strategies to expand Paytm's reach in the offline payment sector. Your leadership will be crucial in motivating your team to achieve lucrative incentives and drive overall sales growth.
