Who you are
You have more than 3 years of experience in channel and distribution sales, demonstrating a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs. Your background includes managing a sales team of at least five members, where you've successfully driven growth and achieved sales targets. You possess excellent market knowledge and are adept at building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, particularly in the oil and gas sector.
You are proficient in Excel and other data tools, allowing you to analyze sales metrics and make informed decisions. Your experience in onboarding new merchants and servicing existing ones has equipped you with the skills to navigate complex sales processes effectively. You have a strong desire for growth and are motivated by the potential for lucrative incentives based on team performance.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for selling Paytm's offline payment solutions to petrol and gas station merchants, acting as the key point of contact from initial outreach to closing sales. You will manage relationships with PSU companies and oil marketing firms, ensuring that their needs are met and that they are satisfied with the services provided. Your role will involve onboarding new merchants, providing them with the necessary support, and maintaining ongoing communication to foster long-term partnerships.
You will lead a team of sales professionals, guiding them in their efforts to achieve sales targets and earn incentives. Your leadership will be crucial in developing strategies for market expansion and distribution, as well as in analyzing sales metrics to drive performance improvements. You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure that Paytm remains a leader in the mobile payments space.
