Job Description
Who you are
You have a proven track record in leading global partnerships and channel strategies, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your expertise in developing and operationalizing go-to-market plans is complemented by your ability to build and scale partnerships with cloud vendors and system integrators. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth through strategic alliances.
Your leadership style is hands-on, and you enjoy mentoring and developing your team while managing complex partner relationships. You understand the nuances of working with hyperscalers like AWS and have experience in expanding partnerships across different regions, particularly from APAC to the Americas. You are data-driven and can set and manage partner quotas effectively.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate the vision and strategy for partnerships to both internal stakeholders and external partners. You are comfortable navigating the challenges of a high-growth tech environment and are passionate about building a diverse partner ecosystem that drives significant pipeline and revenue growth.
Desirable
Experience with open-source technologies and a strong understanding of the database market will be advantageous. Familiarity with enablement programs and joint go-to-market operations will set you apart as a candidate.
What you'll do
As the Global Partnerships & Channels Leader, you will be responsible for defining and executing Percona's global partnership strategies. This includes developing clear go-to-market plans for expanding relationships with existing partners like AWS and identifying new opportunities within the hyperscaler landscape. You will lead a small team, refining the organizational strategy and ensuring the successful execution of partnership initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with the global sales team to leverage existing partnerships and explore new avenues for growth. Your role will involve delivering comprehensive enablement programs to partners, ensuring they are equipped to meet their quotas and drive revenue. You will also be accountable for tracking the performance of partnerships and making data-driven decisions to optimize outcomes.
In addition, you will work on scaling the partnerships and channels organization, which may involve hiring and developing talent to support the growing needs of the business. You will engage with various stakeholders, including GTM teams and regional leaders, to ensure alignment and maximize the impact of partnerships on overall business objectives.
