What you'll do
As a Data Scientist on Plaid's Fraud Data team, you will manage the full lifecycle of machine learning systems, from feature pipeline development to model training and deployment. You will analyze customer and network traffic to evaluate how fraud detection products perform across different segments. Your role will involve building dashboards and performance metrics that provide a clear view of product health for both the team and go-to-market partners.
You will run backtests on customer traffic to assess model and rule performance, uncovering high-value opportunities that can support sales motions and customer expansion. Additionally, you will design the underlying data models and schemas that enable efficient analysis and reporting. Your insights will directly influence product development and help shape the future of Plaid's fraud detection capabilities.
