Who you are
You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience managing strategic accounts. You excel at building long-term relationships with senior technology leaders and understand the complexities of large enterprise environments. Your ability to uncover challenges and drive value-based solutions is key to your success. You are a strategic thinker who can navigate the intricacies of the API landscape and articulate the value of Postman's platform effectively.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams including solutions engineers and field CTOs. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are passionate about technology and understand the importance of APIs in modern software development.
What you'll do
As the Strategic Account Director, you will lead growth initiatives within Postman’s most important enterprise accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to deepen engagement with these accounts, expanding Postman's footprint and delivering the full value of the platform. You will work closely with a dedicated account team, including a Principal Solutions Engineer and a Field CTO, to develop tailored strategies that address the unique needs of each enterprise client.
You will engage with senior technology leaders to uncover complex challenges and drive the adoption of Postman’s enterprise solutions at scale. This role is not about quick wins; it requires a deep understanding of the client’s business and a commitment to building long-term, value-based relationships. You will be responsible for developing account plans, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring that clients realize the full potential of Postman’s offerings.
