Who you are

You are a driven individual with a strong sales background and a passion for technology β€” you thrive in dynamic environments and have a proven track record of managing and expanding key accounts. With at least 5 years of experience in sales, you have developed the skills necessary to navigate complex C-level relationships and understand the nuances of engaging with CTOs and IT leaders.

Your ability to build strong and effective relationships is key to your success β€” you know how to partner with various stakeholders, including Account Development Representatives and Solutions Architects, to drive account strategy and achieve revenue growth. You are proactive in identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, and you have a knack for closing deals that contribute to significant account expansion.

You are comfortable working in a collaborative team environment β€” you enjoy sharing insights and feedback to improve sales strategies and processes. Your enthusiasm for technology and innovation aligns with MongoDB's culture of continuous development and improvement.

Desirable

Experience in the technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with MongoDB's products and services. You may also have experience with sales methodologies that emphasize consultative selling and relationship management.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for formulating and executing a sales strategy within a global account, focusing on account expansion and revenue growth. You will proactively identify, qualify, and close a sales pipeline, strategically prospecting into CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users. Navigating complex C-level relationships will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you manage an extended team to drive the account strategy.

You will build strong relationships with clients, resulting in growth opportunities, and partner closely with Solution Architects and the Professional Services team to deliver innovative solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with various internal teams to ensure that client needs are met and that you are positioned as a trusted advisor.
