Rescale is seeking a Public Sector Account Executive to lead engagements in defense and national security. You'll develop relationships within the U.S. government, particularly the Department of Defense. This role requires a willingness to travel frequently and obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

You have a strong background in sales, particularly within the public sector, and are adept at building relationships with government entities. Your experience includes working with defense and national security sectors, where you understand the unique challenges and requirements of these clients. You are comfortable navigating complex procurement processes and have a proven track record of meeting sales targets. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate the value of Rescale's offerings effectively. You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and are driven by a mission to make a positive impact through technology.
Desirable
Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) solutions or digital engineering is a plus. Familiarity with FedRAMP and DoD compliance standards will enhance your ability to engage with potential clients. A background in engineering or scientific fields can provide valuable context for discussions with technical stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and growing relationships within the U.S. government, focusing on the Department of Defense. You will engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and demonstrate how Rescale's solutions can address their challenges. You will lead sales efforts, from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales targets. Your role will involve frequent travel to meet customers and prospects on-site, as well as attending industry conferences and events to promote Rescale's capabilities. You will collaborate closely with the product and engineering teams to ensure that client feedback is incorporated into future product developments. Additionally, you will maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market trends to position Rescale effectively.
