You have a strong background in sales engineering, particularly within the federal sector, and possess a deep understanding of technical solutions that meet customer needs. Your experience includes providing technical leadership and direction to clients, ensuring that their technology requirements are met with innovative solutions. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with sales teams to achieve regional revenue goals and drive customer success. You are adept at analyzing, designing, and developing fully integrated technology solutions, and you have a proven track record of evangelizing complex products to diverse audiences.
You are a subject matter expert on distributed architectures and storage offerings, particularly in the SAN product space. Your technical expertise allows you to act as a consultant, developing and proposing solutions that align with both technology and business requirements. You are comfortable engaging with federal customers and internal teams, demonstrating your ability to communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible manner. You have a passion for technology and a desire to make a substantial impact in a fast-paced, disruptive tech environment.
Desirable
Experience with hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platforms is a plus, as is familiarity with the federal procurement process. You have a proactive approach to problem-solving and are always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders is key to your success in this role.
What you'll do
As a Senior Sales Engineer at Rubrik, you will play a critical role in supporting the Federal sales team by providing technical direction and business guidance. You will be responsible for driving innovative technical programs that align with regional revenue goals. Your day-to-day activities will include engaging with customers to understand their needs, analyzing their requirements, and developing fully integrated technology solutions that meet those needs. You will demonstrate technical leadership by showcasing Rubrik’s products and their capabilities, ensuring that customers are well-informed about the solutions available to them.
You will work closely with the sales team to position and architect Rubrik’s hyper-converged hybrid cloud data management platform, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of enterprise, mid-market, and small business customers. Your role will involve conducting product demonstrations, responding to technical inquiries, and assisting in the development of proposals that highlight the value of Rubrik’s offerings. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into product development and enhancements.
In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will be expected to stay current with industry trends and competitive offerings, providing insights that can help shape Rubrik’s strategy in the federal market. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be essential as you advocate for Rubrik’s solutions and drive customer engagement.
