Samsara is hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive sales in the Benelux region. You'll engage with mid-sized customers to promote IoT solutions and manage technical POCs. This role requires strong sales skills and the ability to negotiate with executives.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are comfortable engaging with mid-sized customers. Your experience includes managing complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders and technical proof of concepts. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can effectively communicate the value of IoT solutions to executives and CXOs. You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of a hybrid work environment, balancing time between remote work and in-office collaboration in Amsterdam. You are willing to travel within the Benelux region up to 20% of the time, demonstrating your commitment to building relationships with clients.

Desirable

Experience in the Internet of Things (IoT) space is a plus, as is familiarity with industries such as agriculture, construction, and transportation. You have a strong understanding of the sales process and are skilled in negotiation and closing deals. You are data-driven and can leverage insights to inform your sales strategy, ensuring that you meet and exceed your targets.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in the mid-market segment across the Benelux region. You will engage with potential customers to understand their needs and demonstrate how Samsara's IoT solutions can enhance their operations. Your typical sales will range from $10k to $100k, requiring you to manage technical proof of concepts and navigate complex pricing negotiations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through to closing the sale. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
