Samsara is hiring a Mid Market Account Executive to drive sales and bring IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with multiple stakeholders and manage trials and negotiations. This role requires travel approximately 25% of the time.

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are passionate about bringing innovative solutions to mid-sized customers. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that leverage IoT data. Your experience includes managing complex sales cycles and engaging with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs. You are comfortable with negotiations and have a proven track record of closing deals ranging from $20k to $100k.

You are adaptable and willing to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet clients and support their needs. You are also comfortable working across different time zones, as this role requires coordination with teams in EST/CST. You are motivated by the opportunity to impact industries that are crucial to the global economy, such as agriculture, construction, and transportation.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and building Samsara's business within the mid-market segment. You will engage with potential customers to demonstrate the value of our Connected Operationsβ„’ Cloud platform, helping them harness IoT data to improve their operations. You will manage the entire sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring that you address the unique needs of each client.

You will conduct product demonstrations and proof of concepts (POCs) to showcase how our solutions can benefit customers. Your role will involve negotiating pricing and terms with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and satisfied with the proposed solutions. You will also collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into our offerings.
