Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are comfortable engaging with mid-sized customers. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes, negotiating pricing, and working with multiple stakeholders to close deals. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey the value of IoT solutions to executives and CXOs. You are adept at building relationships and understand the importance of customer satisfaction in driving repeat business. Your ability to analyze customer needs and tailor solutions accordingly sets you apart in the sales landscape.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales within the Mid Market segment, focusing on customers in the Midwest region. You will engage with potential clients to demonstrate the benefits of Samsara's IoT solutions, guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to closing. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts (POCs) and trials effectively.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, from technical demonstrations to post-sale support. Your role will involve negotiating pricing and terms with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are aligned and satisfied with the proposed solutions. You will also track and report on sales metrics, providing insights to help refine sales strategies and improve performance.
