Who you are
You have a strong background in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are passionate about bringing innovative solutions to mid-sized customers. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes, engaging with multiple stakeholders, and negotiating effectively with executives and CXOs. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the opportunity to make a significant impact on customer operations through IoT technology.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate the value of IoT solutions clearly and persuasively. Your ability to build relationships with clients and understand their unique needs is key to your success. You are comfortable with travel and are willing to visit clients as needed to foster relationships and close deals.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales within the mid-market segment, focusing on the TOLA region. You will engage with potential customers to demonstrate the benefits of Samsara's IoT solutions, guiding them through the sales process from initial contact to closing. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts (POCs) and trials effectively.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, addressing any concerns and providing tailored solutions that meet client needs. Your role will involve negotiating pricing and terms with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that both the customer and Samsara achieve their goals. You will also track your sales activities and report on progress to management, contributing to the overall growth strategy of the company.
