You have a strong background in sales, particularly in the technology sector, and are passionate about bringing innovative solutions to mid-sized businesses. Your experience includes managing complex sales processes, engaging with multiple stakeholders, and negotiating pricing effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate the value of IoT solutions to executives and decision-makers. Your ability to build relationships and understand customer needs is key to your success in this role. You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of selling to diverse industries, including agriculture, construction, and transportation.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales within the Mid Market segment, focusing on mid-sized customers across the Southeast US. You will engage with potential clients to demonstrate the benefits of Samsara's IoT solutions, managing the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals. Your typical sales will range from $20k to $100k, requiring you to conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and manage trials effectively.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience, collaborating with product and engineering teams to address client needs and feedback. Your role will involve negotiating pricing and terms with multiple stakeholders, ensuring that you align with the strategic goals of both Samsara and your clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining a robust sales pipeline and reporting on your progress to management.
