Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the technology sector, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Your ability to identify and qualify new business opportunities is exceptional — you thrive on building relationships and closing deals. You understand the importance of positioning innovative solutions to meet client needs and have a strong grasp of IT operations and AIOps platforms. You are a strategic thinker who can develop and execute effective prospecting strategies, including cold calling and networking. You are results-driven and motivated by achieving and exceeding sales quotas, with a history of meeting revenue goals.
Desirable
Experience in selling IT operations management solutions or similar technology products is a plus. Familiarity with enterprise sales processes and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures will set you apart. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and have excellent communication skills to articulate the value of ScienceLogic’s offerings to potential clients.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at ScienceLogic, you will be responsible for driving new business across enterprise accounts by positioning our visionary observability platform as the solution for modern IT operations. You will identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within a defined territory, focusing on accounts where ScienceLogic has no existing footprint. Your role will involve leveraging various prospecting strategies, including cold calling, networking, and social selling, to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline. You will collaborate closely with Solution Engineers, Business Development, Channel, and Marketing teams to ensure a cohesive approach to securing new clients.
You will be tasked with executing sales strategies that align with the company's growth objectives, aiming to meet or exceed your annual quota of $600k - $700k. Your success will directly impact the company's revenue and growth trajectory. You will also be responsible for accurate forecasting and reporting on sales activities, ensuring that you maintain a clear understanding of your pipeline and progress towards your goals. You will engage with potential clients to understand their needs and demonstrate how ScienceLogic’s solutions can help them achieve their IT operational goals.
