You are an enthusiastic individual eager to start your career in business development. You possess strong communication skills and are comfortable engaging with potential customers to understand their needs. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to setting up introductions with ideal customers. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a leading cybersecurity company.
Desirable
Experience in sales or customer-facing roles is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts or technology can be beneficial as you engage with clients in this field.
What you'll do
As a Business Development Associate at SecurityScorecard, you will be the first point of contact for many of our future customers. Your primary responsibility will be to set up introductions with potential clients and qualify their needs to ensure a good fit with our services. You will work closely with the Director of Business Development to develop strategies for outreach and engagement. Your role will involve researching potential clients and understanding their business challenges to effectively communicate how SecurityScorecard can help them improve their cybersecurity posture.
You will also assist in maintaining and updating our customer relationship management (CRM) system to track interactions and follow-ups. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn about the cybersecurity industry and develop your skills in business development and sales.
