Overview

Smartsheet is seeking a Commercial Account Executive to drive revenue growth within the Commercial segment. You'll manage customer relationships and execute strategic account plans. This role requires a strong understanding of local market dynamics and a proven sales track record.

Who you are

You are a highly motivated and results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of local market dynamics. You have a proven track record of success in achieving sales targets within a defined geographic territory, particularly in the Commercial segment. Your ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships sets you apart in the sales landscape. You thrive in environments where you can develop and execute strategic account plans, driving cross-selling and upselling opportunities effectively.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate the value of Smartsheet solutions to potential clients. You are adept at managing complex sales cycles and have experience in expanding existing customer relationships across a diverse portfolio of accounts. Your analytical mindset enables you to uncover insights that drive customer adoption and satisfaction.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build and manage a sales pipeline to meet and exceed software and services sales quotas within your book of business. You will be responsible for managing and closing complex sales cycles, ensuring that customer needs are met and that they receive the best possible solutions from Smartsheet. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure swift customer adoption of our solutions, leveraging your understanding of market dynamics to inform your strategies.

You will develop and execute strategic account plans that align with the company's goals and objectives. This includes identifying opportunities for growth within existing accounts and proactively seeking new business opportunities. You will also be expected to report on sales performance and provide insights to the Regional Director, DACH Sales, to help shape future strategies.
