Job Description
Who you are
You have a strong understanding of Snowflake's product, enabling you to guide teams through complex technical evaluations. With a customer-first mindset, you ensure success by consistently executing forecasts to senior management. You have a proven track record of developing territories strategically and effectively, and you thrive on coaching and motivating a robust inside sales team. Your experience includes guiding Account Executives through complex legal and commercial negotiations, demonstrating your ability to navigate challenging discussions with ease.
You bring at least 3 years of experience selling Cloud Solutions, Infrastructure Software, Databases, or Analytic Tools, and you have a background in managing sales teams. Your ability to sell business value using a repeatable process sets you apart, and you know how to create urgency and maintain deal control. You are passionate about building cross-functional relationships with internal and external support teams and technical partners, which is essential for influencing go-to-market strategies for high-growth startups.
Desirable
Experience selling to C-level executives such as CEOs, CTOs, and Heads of Product is a plus, as is a background in venture-backed environments. You understand the importance of team culture and are committed to developing a team that embodies Snowflake's core values.
What you'll do
In this role, you will recruit and build a successful sales team that drives revenue for Snowflake. You will influence the go-to-market strategy and develop a culture around the company's core values. Your responsibilities will include coaching sales representatives on how to create urgency and maintain control over deals, ensuring that your team is equipped to meet and exceed their targets. You will also work closely with internal teams to foster collaboration and support, ensuring that your sales professionals have the resources they need to succeed.
You will be expected to consistently execute what is forecasted to senior management, providing insights and updates on team performance and market trends. Your leadership will be crucial in developing a high-performing sales culture that prioritizes customer success and drives growth.
