Who you are

You have 5-6 years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in customer-facing roles — your ability to engage with both technical and executive audiences sets you apart. You possess strong presentation skills, adept at delivering impromptu demonstrations and presentations to technical teams and executives alike. Your extensive experience with large-scale databases, data warehouse technologies, ETL processes, and analytics makes you a valuable asset in any technical discussion. You have hands-on knowledge of SQL and SQL analytics, allowing you to connect customer business challenges with Snowflake's solutions effectively. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field is part of your background, complemented by fluency in both Japanese and English.

What you'll do

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Snowflake, you will present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and IT professionals at prospective and existing customers. You will demonstrate the value of Snowflake's technology throughout the sales cycle, utilizing methods such as demos and proofs of concept (PoC). Your role will involve understanding the evolving industry landscape, positioning Snowflake against competitors and related technologies. You will collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to implement product improvements and marketing initiatives. Your contributions will help shape the future of data management and analytics, as you work closely with sales teams and channel partners to address complex customer needs.
