Who you are

You have 5-6 years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in customer-facing roles — your background equips you to understand and address complex customer challenges effectively. You possess strong presentation skills, capable of engaging both technical audiences and executives through impromptu demonstrations and whiteboard sessions.

Your experience spans large-scale databases, data warehouse technologies, ETL processes, and analytics — you are well-versed in the intricacies of cloud technology and how it can be leveraged to solve business problems. You have hands-on knowledge of SQL and SQL analytics, enabling you to connect customer business challenges with Snowflake's solutions seamlessly.

You hold a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or have equivalent experience — your educational background supports your technical expertise. You are fluent in both Japanese and English, allowing you to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

What you'll do

As a Senior Solutions Engineer at Snowflake, you will present Snowflake's technology and vision to executives and IT professionals, demonstrating its value through engaging presentations and proofs of concept throughout the sales cycle. You will collaborate closely with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs and plan support for sales opportunities.

You will immerse yourself in the evolving industry landscape, gaining insights into competitors and related technologies to effectively position Snowflake's offerings. Your role will involve working with product management, engineering, and marketing to implement product improvements and marketing initiatives that resonate with customer needs.
