Sonatype is seeking a Senior Strategic Account Manager to partner with high-impact enterprise customers. Who you are

You have a proven track record in managing strategic accounts, ideally with experience in software supply chain security or related fields. Your ability to build strong relationships with enterprise clients is unmatched, and you understand the complexities of navigating budget pressures and AI adoption in today's market. You are results-driven and can fluently discuss sales processes and methodologies, ensuring that you meet and exceed your quotas. Your experience allows you to create meaningful, measurable value for your accounts, focusing on long-term partnerships rather than transactional sales.

Desirable

Experience in a senior individual contributor role is a plus, as is familiarity with MEDDIC sales methodology. You thrive in environments where you can influence decision-making and drive strategic initiatives that align with customer needs. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to articulate value propositions clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

What you'll do

As a Senior Strategic Account Manager at Sonatype, you will own a portfolio of the company's most important enterprise accounts. Your primary responsibility will be to drive expansion, cross-sell, and renewal outcomes, ensuring that your clients receive the highest level of service and support. You will partner with customers to help them navigate the complexities of software supply chain security, leveraging your expertise to provide tailored solutions that meet their unique needs. You will conduct structured quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to assess progress and identify opportunities for growth, always focusing on delivering long-term value.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including engineering and product management, to ensure that customer feedback is integrated into product development. Your role will also involve staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, particularly in the realm of AI, to better serve your clients. You will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of Sonatype's offerings and how they can be leveraged to mitigate risks and maximize efficiencies for your customers.
