Who you are
You have a solid foundation in accounting principles and practices, with experience in revenue recognition and financial reporting. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to calculate and analyze financial data effectively. You understand the importance of compliance with US GAAP and are capable of preparing journal entries and reconciliations. Your ability to work cross-functionally enables you to gain insights into company operations and business results, enhancing your contributions to the team.
What you'll do
As an Accountant for Starlink, you will calculate, analyze, and report revenue for SpaceX's global internet business. You will prepare journal entries and reconciliations, ensuring accurate internal and external reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis. Your role will involve performing accounting analyses on new product initiatives to ensure all transactions are accounted for in accordance with company policies and US GAAP.
You will participate in and drive order-to-cash process improvements and automation initiatives, enhancing revenue system capabilities. Collaborating with various teams, you will execute and maintain high-quality work to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting. Your contributions will support the growth of Starlink, the world's most advanced broadband internet system.
