Who you are
You have a strong background in chemical engineering with experience in designing and operating fluid systems — your expertise includes thermofluid analysis and managing complex engineering projects from concept through activation. You are motivated by the challenge of developing state-of-the-art technologies for cryogenic rocket propellants, including oxygen and methane. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with operational teams to ensure system designs meet rigorous standards. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills enable you to manage the fabrication and installation of critical systems effectively.
Desirable
Experience with air separation and liquefaction processes is a plus, as is familiarity with cryogenic process equipment. You have a passion for aerospace and a desire to contribute to groundbreaking projects that push the boundaries of human exploration.
What you'll do
As a Chemical Process Engineer at SpaceX, you will design, build, and operate systems that support rocket launches and testing. Your responsibilities will include performing thermofluid analysis and managing the installation of fluid systems at launch and test sites. You will help develop technologies for cryogenic propellant production and perform balance of plant calculations for cryogenic systems. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, you will ensure that all systems are designed to meet operational needs and safety standards.
