Who you are
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 1+ years of experience with structures, avionics, propulsion, or automotive hardware installation. You possess strong mechanical assembly skills and are familiar with avionics integration. Your hands-on experience with both large and small mechanical assemblies makes you a valuable asset to the team. You are detail-oriented and ensure that all production services are performed on time, safely, and in a professional manner. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to support troubleshooting of hardware issues in real-time, providing feedback to eliminate repeat issues.
What you'll do
As a Production Integration Technician, you will be responsible for staging, setting up, assembling, testing, and installing satellite flight hardware. You will use various mechanical and precision calibrated tools, including automated and manual torque wrenches, to ensure product quality and conformance to specifications. Your role will involve performing work according to established procedures, specifications, and test instructions. You will collaborate closely with production engineers to develop and document activities, ensuring an efficient and effective work environment. Additionally, you will be involved in troubleshooting hardware issues as they arise, contributing to the continuous improvement of production processes.
