Who you are

You have a strong background in sales operations, with experience in market forecasting and competitive intelligence. Your ability to create compelling communication materials supports efforts to increase access to space and establish industry leadership. You are proficient in technical tools such as Python and SQL, which you use to define and develop sales-specific metrics and dashboards that track pre-sales performance and post-sales health.

You excel at integrating with sales, finance, and customer success teams to identify initiatives that improve business outlook. Your analytical mindset allows you to develop, track, and execute business initiatives in collaboration with SpaceX’s leadership. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adaptable to the rapid evolution of the aerospace industry.

What you'll do

As the Sales Operations Lead, you will report to the Director of Commercial Sales and play a critical role in shaping the future of SpaceX's launch services. You will lead market forecasting efforts and drive process automation across the sales team. Your responsibilities will include creating and refining sales metrics and dashboards that provide insights into performance and health metrics.

You will work closely with engineering teams to align product direction with future customer needs, ensuring that SpaceX remains at the forefront of the launch market. Engaging with SpaceX leadership, you will present both quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform strategic decisions. Your role will be pivotal in advancing SpaceX's presence in the commercial launch sector, contributing to the mission of enabling human life on Mars.
