Who you are
You have extensive experience in people operations, particularly within technical environments, and understand the nuances of supporting engineering teams. You thrive in ambiguous situations and can balance strategic thinking with practical execution, ensuring that the people strategy aligns with business goals. Your ability to mentor and guide junior team members is a key strength, as is your capacity to build relationships with engineering leaders at the VP level and above.
You are a self-starter who can proactively identify challenges and develop solutions without needing specific direction. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to navigate complex discussions and foster collaboration across teams. You are passionate about creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture that supports high performance and employee engagement.
What you'll do
In this role, you will partner directly with engineering leaders to develop and implement a people strategy that supports a complex technical culture. You will be responsible for mentoring junior members of the People team, providing guidance and support as they navigate their roles. Your strategic insights will help shape the organization's approach to talent management, employee engagement, and performance optimization.
You will work closely with engineering teams to understand their unique needs and challenges, ensuring that the people strategy is tailored to support their objectives. This includes developing programs that enhance employee experience, drive retention, and promote professional development. You will also play a key role in fostering a culture of feedback and continuous improvement, helping to create an environment where employees feel valued and empowered to contribute.
