Who you are
You have over 4 years of experience in web application testing, ensuring the integrity and safety of clinical trial software. Your solid analytical skills allow you to review product requirements effectively, ensuring they are clear, consistent, and testable. You possess a strong understanding of testing methodologies and principles, which you apply in developing validation plans based on risk-based testing methodologies. Your working knowledge of SQL enables you to develop and execute test cases for complex software modules, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
You are proficient in test automation, utilizing industry-standard tools to automate test scripts and improve efficiency. Your excellent problem-solving skills and learning capability allow you to tackle challenges effectively, while your time management and organizational skills ensure timely delivery of high-quality code. Strong oral and written communication skills enable you to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
What you'll do
In this role, you will report to the Senior/Principal Software Test Engineer and be responsible for ensuring the correct functioning of clinical trial software. You will review product requirements and verify their clarity and testability, developing validation plans according to a risk-based testing methodology. Setting up the testing environment and preparing testing data will be key parts of your responsibilities, as will authoring and executing test scripts, documenting defects, and tracking resolutions.
You will work closely with others to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality code and assist with software deployment into all environments, completing all required documentation. Additionally, you will assist the support team with the investigation of production issues, leveraging your expertise to identify and resolve problems efficiently. Your role will also involve automating test scripts using industry-standard tools, contributing to the overall improvement of the testing process.
