Who you are

You have over 4 years of experience in web application testing, demonstrating a solid understanding of testing methodologies and principles. Your analytical skills are strong, allowing you to review product requirements and verify that they are clear, consistent, and testable. You possess a working knowledge of SQL, enabling you to develop and execute test cases for software modules with high complexity. Your problem-solving skills are excellent, and you have a keen ability to learn quickly, which is essential in this role.

You are familiar with test automation and have experience automating test scripts using industry-standard tools. Your time management and organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong oral and written communication skills are part of your toolkit, enabling you to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will report to the Senior/Principal Software Test Engineer, Group Lead, or Manager of Software Testing. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the correct functioning of clinical trial software, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and the integrity of clinical study data. You will develop validation plans according to a risk-based testing methodology and set up testing environments while preparing testing data.

You will author and execute test scripts, document defects, and track resolutions to ensure timely delivery of high-quality code. Additionally, you will assist with software deployment into all environments and complete all required documentation. Your role will also involve collaborating with the support team to investigate production issues, ensuring that any problems are resolved swiftly and effectively.
