Who you are
You have a passion for connecting with customers and understanding their needs — your experience in customer advocacy or success roles has equipped you with the skills to run programs that amplify customer voices effectively. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating with teams across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product Management to create impactful advocacy initiatives.
Your ability to manage relationships is exceptional — you understand the importance of building strong advocate relationships and can influence customer participation in programs that deepen engagement and accelerate growth. You are detail-oriented and can oversee the production of customer success stories, videos, and webinars, ensuring that every interaction is a thoughtful and positive experience.
You possess strong project management skills — your experience allows you to manage timelines and coordinate various advocacy activities seamlessly. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with in-person collaboration when necessary.
Desirable
Experience in a technology company or a similar industry would be a plus, as would familiarity with customer success metrics and frameworks. You may have a background in marketing or communications, which would enhance your ability to craft compelling customer narratives.
What you'll do
As the Customer Advocacy Manager at Tanium, you will play a pivotal role in extending the company's market leadership by integrating and merchandising customer success stories through innovative advocacy initiatives. You will oversee and influence timely customer evidence, ensuring that advocacy programs resonate with both internal teams and external audiences.
Your responsibilities will include executing a robust advocacy framework that supports reference needs and strengthens Tanium's ability to scale growth and meet revenue objectives. You will collaborate closely with various teams to land and establish advocacy programs, including an annual calendar of artifacts, webinars, keynotes, and appreciation events.
You will manage projects such as the Tanium customer evidence referral program and the customer success web property, ensuring that all timelines are met and that the production of customer videos and success stories is executed flawlessly. Your role will require you to engage directly with customers, providing them with a white-glove experience at every interaction.
