As the Senior Business Development Director for Tempus Compass, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with pharmaceutical companies conducting clinical trials — your role will involve developing strategic partnerships that enhance Tempus' offerings and expand its market presence. You will lead efforts to build and sustain customer growth, ensuring that the Tempus Compass business unit meets and exceeds its sales goals.

You will initiate and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in the pharmaceutical industry, leveraging your knowledge of market trends and competitive strategies to position Tempus as a leader in precision medicine. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive business development plans, managing a qualified pipeline of opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional value to clients.

In this role, you will also monitor industry developments and competitor activities, using this information to refine your strategies and maintain a competitive edge. You will be expected to represent Tempus at industry events and conferences, showcasing the company's innovative solutions and building brand awareness.
