Your experience includes working with various types of valves such as bang bang valves, latching valves, and solenoid valves. You are skilled in creating CAD models and engineering drawings, ensuring that all components meet the required specifications and performance standards. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with system, avionics, and vehicle design teams to define and maintain the technical baseline for valve interfaces. Your analytical skills allow you to perform structural analysis on components, ensuring their reliability and efficiency in space applications.

Desirable

Experience with space vehicle systems or similar high-stakes engineering projects is a plus. Familiarity with fluidic, mechanical, thermal, electrical, and data interfaces will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the development of valves for the Nyx orbital vehicle, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of efficiency and reliability. You will define and maintain the technical requirements for the valves, collaborating with various engineering teams to ensure seamless integration with the propulsion system. Your responsibilities will include creating and reviewing engineering drawings, performing structural analysis, and supporting the design and development of the Nyx Earth capsule. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of the component, from initial concept through to flight delivery, ensuring that all technical compliance measures are met.

You will actively participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to your peers, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the development process, ensuring that the project stays on track and meets its deadlines. You will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology in the aerospace sector, making a significant impact on the future of space exploration.
