You have experience in production planning and supply chain management, ideally within the aerospace or manufacturing sectors. Your familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Odoo, allows you to efficiently manage workflows and ensure smooth operations. You possess strong organizational skills and can effectively prioritize tasks to meet project milestones. Your ability to collaborate across teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, ensures that all aspects of production are aligned and functioning optimally. You are proactive in following up with suppliers and addressing any potential delays in the supply chain. You understand the importance of timely delivery in manufacturing and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

What you'll do

As a Planning Engineer at The Exploration Company, you will oversee the flow of parts and assemblies from suppliers to internal manufacturing. You will manage external supply chain operations, ensuring that suppliers deliver on time and that production progress is monitored closely. Your role will involve preparing work orders and defining the necessary tooling and resources required for production. You will utilize Odoo to manage planning updates and align priorities with project milestones. Daily interactions with cross-functional teams will be essential as you consolidate planning efforts and ensure resource availability. You will also provide visibility on supplier status and internal workload, identifying risks that could impact delivery timelines.
