Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in B2B or enterprise sales, business development, or strategic account management — you've successfully closed new business and understand the nuances of consultative selling. Your background includes working with enterprise and mid-market merchants, particularly in the retail, grocery, and restaurant sectors. You excel at building relationships and have a knack for understanding merchant needs, which allows you to propose tailored solutions effectively. You are comfortable leading discovery sessions and product demos with senior decision-makers, showcasing your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working cross-functionally with teams such as Marketing, Legal, Operations, and Product. Your analytical skills enable you to use data and performance insights to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions. You are proactive in managing a healthy sales pipeline through outbound strategies and lead qualification, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets.

Desirable

Experience in the last-mile delivery sector or familiarity with logistics solutions would be a plus. You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of a fast-paced environment, always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes. A strong network within the industry could also enhance your effectiveness in this role.

What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Uber Direct, you will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and a smooth handoff to post-sales teams. Your primary responsibility will be to acquire and grow strategic merchant partnerships across key verticals such as restaurants, grocery, and retail in Mexico. You will lead consultative discovery sessions and product demos with senior decision-makers to understand their business needs and propose tailored Uber Direct solutions. Building and managing a healthy pipeline will be crucial, and you will employ outbound strategies and collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales Development Representative teams to qualify leads effectively.

You will partner cross-functionally with Legal, Operations, Product, and Account Management to ensure successful onboarding and long-term merchant success. Your role will also involve using data and performance insights to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions, ensuring that Uber Direct is positioned as a preferred last-mile delivery solution for enterprise and mid-market merchants. Your success will be measured by your ability to close new business and foster long-term relationships with clients, contributing to the overall growth of Uber Direct in the market.
