Who you are
You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in the food service or restaurant industry — you understand the dynamics of building partnerships and can effectively communicate value propositions to potential clients. Your bilingual skills in Spanish are essential for engaging with a diverse range of restaurant owners and operators, ensuring clear communication and relationship building. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets, demonstrating your ability to manage a pipeline and maintain metrics effectively.
You possess strong prospecting and negotiation skills — cold-calling is second nature to you, and you are comfortable making at least 50 dials per day to connect with potential partners. Your ability to create a great first impression and act as an ambassador for the Uber Eats brand is crucial in establishing long-term partnerships. You are proactive in identifying opportunities and building processes that support seamless onboarding experiences for new restaurant partners.
What you'll do
As an Account Executive at Uber Eats, you will own and manage a pipeline of local small and medium restaurants, focusing on signing new partnerships in your geographic region. Your role will involve a mix of cold-calling and in-person meetings to effectively communicate the value of Uber Eats to potential partners. You will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting to contract negotiation, ensuring that both Uber and the restaurant partners benefit from sustainable economics.
You will collaborate with the Account Management team to identify and build standard processes that enhance the onboarding experience for new partners. Your success will be measured by achieving and exceeding your monthly quota, and you will proactively build your pipeline by managing and hitting weekly metrics related to cold calls, emails, and field appointments. You will also play a key role in fostering collaboration within the team and embodying Uber's cultural identity.
